Jazzed : Dating Site Review
Jazzed.com has not been around for very long. In fact, the site actually launched in mid-2010. However, the power behind the site should be recognizable to anyone – it was launched by eHarmony.com, one of the most popular and recognizable dating sites in the world.
What makes Jazzed.com any different from eHarmony? Simply put, Jazzed is more casual than eHarmony. Where eHarmony focuses on connecting you with someone for a long-term relationship, Jazzed is more about casual dating.
Features
Jazzed.com features some relatively common features for dating sites today. Setting up an account lets you create a profile and then add pictures. There are also quite a few question and answer sections on the site, though they are not as comprehensive or time-consuming as those found on the parent site. You will also be able to send and receive emails through Jazzed.com once you have made your account.
Safety
Safety is always of paramount concern, particularly when dealing with people in the virtual world. One of the key safety features here is that all users must have a fully completed profile, which cuts down on the number of scammers creating cookie-cutter profiles. The site also screens all profiles to ensure that they are appropriate (and real).
Prices
Price is one area where you might have a bit of confusion with Jazzed.com. In fact, it is virtually impossible to find out anything about the prices of the service. They do offer a free 90-day trial for new users; however, even digging through their terms of service does not give you any information about the cost of a subscription. This is certainly a mark against the service. They do, however, offer one, two and three month subscriptions, as well as lifetime subscriptions.
Ease of Use
Using Jazzed.com is not particularly easy to use if all you want is information. If you just want to leap right in and make a profile, though, it's very easy. Once you fill out your profile (which might take longer than you think), you're done.
The Search
Of course, the real test of any dating site is how easy it is to search for other people. Since Jazzed.com is relatively new to the scene, you might not have as many potential connections here as with a site that is more established. However, that does not mean that Jazzed is a bad place for those looking for a date.
